The colorful puzzle-platformer Colorbound by Panpipe Studio has officially launched on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. The game invites players on a touching and visually rich journey where colors possess real physical power and reshape the surrounding world.
What is Colorbound about?
At the center of the story is Anku, an Aymara boy who possesses a unique gift for interacting with colors. His goal is to reunite the former members of his late grandfather's musical band to stage a proper farewell concert for him. Traveling through diverse locations, Anku will solve spatial and logic puzzles using his magical palette.
Gameplay features:
- Color as a tool: collect colors on your palette to transform the environment and unlock new paths.
- Unique paint properties: different hues behave differently — some make objects weightless and cause them to float, while others add weight and push obstacles downward.
- Authentic Andean culture: the visual style, music, and atmosphere are inspired by the traditions of the Aymara culture and South American heritage.
Colorbound is already available on the digital eShop for both generations of Nintendo consoles.
