The viral slot machine simulator CloverPit, which resembles a hellish mix of Balatro and Buckshot Roulette, has finally reached Nintendo consoles. The game became available today for both the original Switch and the next-generation platform.
Optimization for Switch 2 and tremendous success
After massive success on Steam, Game Pass, and mobile devices, where the game gathered over 5 million players, the developers are releasing it on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The version for the new console is fully optimized: it received mouse control support and significantly improved performance. Moreover, the console version already includes all post-release updates, including the hardcore mode.
What is the game about?
Developed by Panik Arcade studio and published by Future Friends Games, CloverPit combines roguelite progression, complex combo building, and escape room-style psychological horror with gambling mechanics. Players find themselves in a rusty cell with a slot machine and an ATM, where they must pay their debt at the end of each round, otherwise death awaits them.
Main features of the game:
- A thrilling rogue-lite where every round could be your last;
- Deep meta-progression, multiple endings, and unlockable power-ups;
- Over 150 items and synergies to conquer fortune;
- A creepy escape room atmosphere with a story about addiction and an attempt to escape;
- Built-in Hardmode update, which doubles the requirements and poses a real challenge.
Unholy Fusion Expansion
Along with the base game, the Unholy Fusion DLC has gone on sale. It offers 30 new talismans for creating crazy combinations, 11 base items, 7 memory cards, an entirely new ending, and many other innovations.
