The plot of the new installment unfolds thirteen months after the mysterious disappearance of six girls in Sicily. The protagonist, Susan, receives a mysterious audio recording that gives hope that her daughter is still alive. Defying common sense, she sets off for the abandoned Ashmann family estate on the slopes of Mount Etna, where the chilling story begins.
