Studio IzanagiGames, together with Nippon TV and AX-ON, has released the interactive FMV thriller AKIBA LOST on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. To mark the release, the developers published an atmospheric trailer introducing players to the mysteries of Akihabara.
Live-Action Cinema and an Intricate Detective Story
AKIBA LOST is a large-scale live-action adventure game where the story is told from the perspectives of multiple characters. The plot revolves around game developer Shinjo and six girls, each representing a distinct facet of the Akihabara district's subculture. Thanks to the character-switching mechanic, players piece together the puzzle fragments step by step to uncover the hidden truth.

- Digital Deluxe Edition ($40.49): includes the full game, original soundtrack, the complete six-episode television series Drama Movie, and both sets of pixel costumes for the characters;
- AKIBA LOST Original Soundtrack ($5.99): 31 music tracks by composer Tsukasa Masuko and costumes for Shinjo, Wakana, Aoi, and Moe;
- AKIBA LOST Drama Movie ($9.99): all 6 episodes of the original TV drama from Nippon TV for in-game viewing along with costumes for Shinjo, Kokone, Chihiro, and Yukimi.
