The long-awaited release of Nintendo Switch Sports Resort exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2 console has arrived. This is the first sports game in the lineup on Nintendo's next-generation platform, bringing players back to the legendary Wuhu Island.

Since sports entertainment is best enjoyed together, the official Nintendo NY flagship store organized a special event for fans. Store visitors had the opportunity to personally test the new sports disciplines, experience intuitive motion controls with the new Joy-Con 2 controllers, and compete with one another in local multiplayer.
What's New in Nintendo Switch Sports Resort?
Players can use created Mii or Sportsmate characters and enjoy 12 diverse sports utilizing innovative Joy-Con 2 controls (as rackets, bows, or a steering wheel):
- Classic and competitive disciplines: boxing, table tennis, archery, tennis, volleyball, bowling, basketball, golf, and thumb wrestling.
- Outdoor activities: skateboarding (with Joy-Con 2 mouse-like control functionality), jet skiing (Power Cruising), and propeller plane flights (Prop Plane).
- Warm-up: jump rope for staying in shape.
