Return of the legend to the football pitch
Captain Tsubasa returns after more than a six-year break in the game CAPTAIN TSUBASA 2: WORLD FIGHTERS. Published by Bandai Namco and developed by TAMSOFT CORPORATION. This time, football matches turn into even more exciting and unpredictable battles, where players can use super moves for dribbling, tackling, passing, and shooting at the goal.
The game will become the largest in the history of the series: 22 national teams, over 110 playable characters, and more than 150 new moves await you. The release on Nintendo Switch is scheduled for August 28, 2026, and in the new trailer, the developers showed an intense match between the national teams of Germany and Brazil.
Editions and pre-order bonuses
The game will be available in several editions:
- Standard Edition ($59.99 / €69.99): base copy of the game.
- Deluxe Edition ($79.99 / €89.99): base game, Season Pass (6 characters and customization), and a bonus black ball.
- Ultimate Edition ($89.99 / €99.99): all Deluxe content, as well as five alternative kits, three ball designs, two goal celebration animations, two main menu themes, and two powerful move cards.
Regardless of the chosen edition, for pre-ordering, players will receive a 2026 Japan national team kit set, early access to the Brazil youth national team, and two bonus music tracks. The developers have also significantly improved the action on the pitch by adding a new tactical system for goalkeeper vs. striker confrontations, and the musical accompaniment will delight fans with 80 new tracks.
