Capcom has published a new overview trailer for Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, featuring voiceover by renowned actor Ron Perlman (known for his role as Hellboy). The game is preparing for release on Nintendo Switch 2 as early as October 9, 2026, priced at $49.99.
What awaits players in the Dark Arisen expansion
The massive expansion takes the Arisen to the long-abandoned northern region of Norgan. There, players will have to team up with the mysterious Eir to uncover the secrets of the immortal Fallen Dragon.
Among the main new features of the expansion:
- New relics and skills: finding and appraising forgotten artifacts to unlock powerful weapons and abilities.
- 12 Lost Rites Dungeon Challenges: new trials from the Guide designed to test the player's skills and reward rare equipment from past heroes.
- Expanded character creator: additional hairstyles, tattoos, and other appearance customization options.
Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen will mark the first release of Capcom's hit action-RPG for the new Nintendo Switch 2 console.
