The shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is now available on the next-generation Switch 2 platform. Infinity Ward, in partnership with Digital Legends, created a native version of the game specifically tailored to the capabilities of the new console. Now, the developers have shared details about the first free content update, Season 1, set to release on November 6, 2026.

The game's story campaign centers around the rapid escalation of a global conflict on the Korean Peninsula, where players step into the shoes of Private Park and the legendary Captain Price. Players will visit New York, Paris, Mumbai, and the trenches of Korea.
The game's multiplayer introduces the innovative Ballistic Authority system for authentic weapon handling, 12 base maps, and the dynamic Kill Block arena featuring over 500 cover layout configurations between rounds.
