Bethesda responds to requests for an Oblivion Remastered patch

The Switch 2 version may also receive some updates after release.

Recently, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered became available on the next-generation Switch 2 console. Although the game is currently in a fully playable state, the performance and some other aspects of the project could be significantly improved after the release of one or more additional patches.

Bethesda's response to feedback

Although there are no specific announcements yet regarding updates specifically for the Nintendo platform, today Bethesda officially confirmed that it has received feedback from Oblivion players. Moreover, the developers noted that they plan to transfer certain optimization solutions from the new Switch 2 version to other platforms in the near future.

Fans of the series can only hope that:

• A full bug-fixing patch will be announced in the near future.
