Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Kenny Sun have great news for fans of survival and roguelike games. Their hit BALL x PIT has officially surpassed 2 million copies sold! The game, which is available on Nintendo Switch and the brand new Switch 2, continues to rapidly gain popularity.
What awaits players in 2026?
Earlier, the developers promised to release three free updates throughout the year, each adding a lot of new content:
- January: Regal Update for true aesthetes;
- April: Shadow Update, which will bring a bit of darkness;
- July: Naturalist Update for a return to the roots.
Each of these updates includes new balls, evolutions, buildings, characters, and much more. However, the surprises do not end there!
A mysterious announcement
Celebrating 2 million copies sold, the developers left an intriguing message for the community. They hinted that we should soon expect "big and exciting" news regarding the future of BALL x PIT. It seems players will not be able to tear themselves away from this game for a long time!
