HAMSTER Co. has announced the latest addition to its popular retro lineup, Arcade Archives. The classic space shooter Satan of Saturn will be released on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles on August 27, 2026.
Return of the 1981 Arcade Classic
The original game was released by SNK back in 1981. Players take control of a spaceship, fend off an onslaught of alien UFOs and missiles threatening Earth, and then embark on a distant journey to Saturn to defeat the main villain — Satan of Saturn.
Modern Improvements for Retro Fans
The Arcade Archives series is known for its faithful treatment of the original, offering authentic gameplay alongside modern conveniences:
- Flexible difficulty and display settings;
- Rewind feature and rapid-fire;
- Multiple quick save slots;
