Developer Aarón Hernández has announced that his dynamic platformer-roguelite Cat-Astrophy will arrive on Nintendo Switch as early as November 5, 2026, priced at €14.99. Players who pre-order from October 29 to November 4 will receive a nice 10% discount.
Cat Adventures Among Hostile Stars
The main protagonist of the game is astronaut cat Polo, who is lost in a hostile galaxy. Interestingly, the character was modeled after the real pet of the Barcelona-based developer, who created the project almost entirely solo.
Cat-Astrophy combines dynamic real-time combat, parkour, and precision platforming. Each run starts from scratch, and death is permanent — only star shards are kept, serving as currency to unlock permanent upgrades before the next run.
