Publisher Mythwright and the developers of the minimalist strategy game Thronefall have announced a significant milestone: the game has surpassed 2 million copies sold. To celebrate this achievement, the project's first-ever major DLC, titled Craaghelm, was announced, with its release scheduled for November 11, 2026.
Return to the Underground Halls
In the Craaghelm expansion, players will take on the role of the last dwarven king and set out to defend their realm from an army of mechanical constructs. You will have to reclaim your ancestral halls and adapt to a perilous mountain landscape.
Key Features of Craaghelm:
- 8 new themed maps: moving platforms, streams of molten lava, and dangerous narrow passages that will challenge your strategic thinking.
- New units: axe throwers (effective against both ground and flying enemies), automatons, and combat airships.
- Ancient heroes: the Technician, Siege Engineer, and Spirits of Dwarven Warriors will come to your aid.
- Dangerous enemies: new adversaries include the destructive Clockwork Oliphaunt, cunning Goblin Looters, and Jumping Bots targeting your economy.
- Fresh arsenal and perks: the "Dragon's Breath" weapon, defensive "Twin Bastions," spiked walls, and healing hot springs.
- New mutators: challenges featuring volcanic ash, rockfalls, and natural disasters for true hardcore players.
Thronefall continues to win the hearts of gamers thanks to its cozy yet deep gameplay built around the "build by day — defend by night" formula.
