The New Denpa Men servers will shut down on December 6, 2026
The developers from Genius Sonority have shared sad news for fans of the Denpa Men series. The free-to-play game The New Denpa Men will officially come to an end on December 6, 2026 — approximately two years after its initial launch on Nintendo Switch.
The project arrived on Switch in 2024, was later released on mobile devices, and in April 2026 also launched on Switch 2. However, maintaining a high-quality service has become too difficult for the developers.
Microtransaction Shutdown and Refunds
Along with the sad announcement, the game's creators have already disabled the ability to purchase paid items:
- Sales of the in-game currency Jewels and Jewel Packs have ended;
- Value Packs, Stamina Expansion Packs, and Create Packs are no longer available;
- Detailed information regarding refunds for unused purchased currency will be published after the servers are completely shut down.
The Genius Sonority team sincerely thanked players for their active support throughout the game's lifecycle and apologized for having to make such a difficult decision.
