The cult action-RPG set in the Middle-earth universe is back! The release of The Lord of the Rings: War in the North - Legacy Edition has been announced, coming to Nintendo Switch and the new Nintendo Switch 2 console.
The Battle for the North Begins Anew
In a new trailer titled "Fear No Darkness", the developers showcased the updated version of the game. Players will once again have to challenge the forces of Sauron on the northern fronts of the War of the Ring, either solo or in co-op mode.
Legacy Edition Features:
- Full adaptation of the game for modern Nintendo Switch family systems, including support for enhanced graphics and performance on Nintendo Switch 2.
- Three-player cooperative mode with the option to play both locally and online.
- All previously released add-ons and content updates included in the base game.
