Publisher Flynn's Arcade and developer Apamate Studio have announced the release date for the meditative sci-fi game The Last Cat in the Universe. The release on the Nintendo Switch console will take place on October 29, 2026.

In The Last Cat in the Universe, you take on the role of an artificial intelligence aboard a decaying space station. Humanity has vanished, leaving behind only silence, dust, and a small, frightened creature. Your sole directive is to protect it and create a warm, cozy home for the last cat in the universe by dismantling the remnants of the dead ship for resources.
