Massive Year 4 Update and Debut on Switch 2
Ubisoft has revealed details of the massive Year 4 update for the arcade racing game The Crew Motorfest. The fourth year of support will officially begin on October 7, and on October 8, the game will join the library of the long-awaited Nintendo Switch 2 console.
Free Kauai Island and Winch System
The main feature of Season 11 will be a free map expansion: players will gain access to the wild island of Kauai. The new location is created specifically for off-roading and offers swamps, deep canyons, hidden tunnels, and over 40 species of wildlife inhabiting the land, water, and air of the Hawaiian archipelago.
To conquer the impassable wilderness, the developers are introducing a new mechanic — the winch. It will allow selected vehicles (including the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato) to clear debris, pull out stuck cars, and overcome difficult obstacles.
Lara Croft and Bugatti Tourbillon
Among other key innovations of the season:
- Crossover with Tomb Raider: a paid story expansion led by Lara Croft featuring puzzles, ancient ruins, and exclusive cars (including the Mercedes-AMG 6x6).
- Bugatti Tourbillon: the supercar will debut in a special Proving Laps event.
- 21 new vehicles: garage expansion to suit every taste.
- Updated Trackforge: over 200 new parts for the track builder.
Ubisoft also confirmed the themes of upcoming updates: Season 12 is dedicated to the Asian automotive industry, while Season 13 will add trucks and specialized vehicles to the game.
