Studio Sunblink, together with Sanrio, has released Tea Garden — a new downloadable expansion for the popular cozy life simulator Hello Kitty Island Adventure. The DLC is already available for purchase for $9.99 on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles.
Main features of the Tea Garden DLC:
- Regency Era Style: Unlock 15 new clothing items with over 300 unique variations, including bonnets, bows, and full outfits. Over 30 new costumes for your Sanrio friends have also been added!
- Tea Ceremony: Unlock two new cooking stations — the Teapot and the Tiered Tray. Master 38 new recipes to create tea, scones, and sandwiches for the perfect garden party.
- New Story Quests: Explore over 15 new quests in the Merry Meadows location. Help your favorite characters prepare for the most exclusive ball of the season.
- Elegant Decor: Transform your cabins into personalized tea gardens using hedge mazes, gazebos, and other beautiful decorations.
Return of Scholastic Celebration
In addition, the developers announced the return of the Scholastic Celebration event, which this time will feature a marching band theme! Starting August 13, 2026, players will be able to collect music notes all over the island to earn new rewards, join the band, and support their favorite team.
