Studio Excellent Rectangle has officially announced the release of its hockey roguelite game Tape to Tape on the Nintendo Switch hybrid console. The game will launch on the platform on October 23, 2026.
What's New in Version 1.0?
Tape to Tape has been in Early Access since 2023. The full version 1.0 release on Switch and other platforms will offer players a substantial amount of updates:
- A completely overhauled story campaign mode;
- New gameplay mechanics and fresh additional content;
- Improved visuals and updated sound design;
- Optimized controls for intense hockey battles on the ice.
Tape to Tape combines classic arcade hockey with rogue-lite elements, where each run gives you the opportunity to recruit new players, unlock unique abilities, and upgrade your team.
