Demo Version and First Comparisons
Studio SHIFT UP is releasing Stellar Blade Complete Edition on the next-generation Switch 2 console as soon as November 5, 2026. However, players can already try out the action game now: an official demo version of the game has become available in the Nintendo eShop digital store. The demo release also allowed enthusiasts to conduct a detailed comparison of graphics and frame rates between the Switch 2 and Steam Deck versions.
Game Features and Joy-Con 2 Support
Taking on the role of the elite warrior Eve, players must reclaim control over a devastated Earth while fighting mysterious enemies. The game combines a spectacular cinematic story, a dynamic combat system, and deep customization of skills and equipment. On Switch 2, players will also receive support for the gyroscope and Joy-Con 2 motion controls for various out-of-combat activities.
Bonuses, Collaborations, and Physical Edition
The Complete Edition will offer players all previously released content, including crossovers with NieR:Automata and GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE, as well as a number of exclusive perks:
- Bayonetta-style Costumes: four free exclusive outfits available from day one on Switch 2;
- Complete Add-on Pack: bonus Stargazer outfit sets for Eve, Adam, and Lily, accessories, and extra in-game EXP and currency;
- Full Cartridge: the physical version of the game comes entirely on the cartridge without the need to download extra files or use key cards.
