Stellar Blade Developers Confirm 60 FPS and DLSS Use on Nintendo Switch 2

The developers of Stellar Blade have revealed technical details of the version for Nintendo Switch 2: a target of 60 fps and active use of DLSS.

Studio Shift Up has shared new technical details regarding the port of the action game Stellar Blade for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 console. The developers revealed the target frame rate, resolution, and discussed the integration of DLSS technology.

Speed and Clarity: What to Expect on Switch 2

As became known after analyzing fresh demonstration materials, the developers are aiming for maximum gameplay smoothness:

  • Target frame rate: the game will run at a stable 60 FPS, which is critical for Stellar Blade's dynamic combat system.
  • Use of DLSS: NVIDIA DLSS upscaling is actively used to achieve high image clarity without sacrificing performance.
  • Resolution: thanks to artificial intelligence technologies from NVIDIA, the portable version will deliver a sharp image both in handheld mode and when connected to the dock.

Shift Up is optimizing the game so that players on the new console get a visual experience as close as possible to the versions for other platforms.
