The developers of Splatoon Raiders have officially confirmed that the game will not receive any downloadable content (DLC) or balance patches. Unlike the mainline games in the Splatoon series, which were regularly updated after release, this project was created as a fully complete product.
Developers' Stance
The information came to light from a recent interview with the Japanese publication Famitsu. Game producer Seita Inoue noted that the team designed Splatoon Raiders from the very beginning as a cohesive and self-contained experience that does not require post-release support or further balance changes.
- No paid or free DLC is planned
- Balance updates will also not be released
- The game is considered fully complete upon release
