Atari and Digital Eclipse have officially unveiled SiN: Reloaded — a major update to the classic 1998 first-person shooter developed by Ritual Entertainment. The project is being prepared for release on Nintendo Switch and the new Switch 2 platform.
What awaits players in the remaster
The original SiN was a notable phenomenon in its time within the genre of shooters powered by the Quake II engine. The updated edition was created with both fans of the classic and a new audience in mind:
- Enhanced visuals: reworked graphics and high-resolution support;
- Modern controls: adapted control schemes for console controllers;
- Complete package: the edition will include the original campaign and the official expansion Wages of Sin;
- Optimization: smooth gameplay on Switch and Switch 2.
The release of SiN: Reloaded on the Nintendo family of consoles is expected in the near future.
