New rumors have surfaced online regarding upcoming releases for the new Nintendo Switch 2 console. According to fresh leaks from European retailers, Ubisoft may be preparing to release an updated version of the pirate classic — Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
Where did the information come from?
French retail chain E.Leclerc accidentally added a page for a wireless controller from the Lexip brand to its catalog. The accessory, named "Advanced Pro Wireless Controller," is styled specifically after Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced and is designed specifically for Switch 2.
- Accessory name: Lexip Advanced Pro Wireless Controller (Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Edition);
- Listed release date: September 22, 2026;
- Platform: Nintendo Switch 2.
The appearance of themed peripherals often points to an imminent official announcement of the game itself. Fans of the franchise have long been waiting for a full-fledged remake or remaster of Edward Kenway's iconic adventure, and it seems that a release on Nintendo's new system is just around the corner.
