ATLUS has unveiled a special "Shadow Version" video in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Persona series, offering a reminder of upcoming releases for Switch 2.

Celebration of the Cult JRPG Series' 30th Anniversary

SEGA and studio ATLUS continue the large-scale celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Persona series. Ahead of the anniversary, which is officially celebrated on September 20, 2026, the developers published a special animated video titled "Shadow Version".

This video is a new version of the anniversary trailer released earlier this year. The core concept of the animation is based on the question: "What if the series' protagonists had their own Shadows?". The creators designed fresh illustrations and brought them to life through high-quality animation.

The Future of the Franchise on Nintendo Platforms

Persona fans on Nintendo consoles also have something to look forward to in the near future:

Persona 4 Revival will officially release on Switch 2 on May 20, 2027.
Persona 6 has also been confirmed for the Switch 2 console, with the developers promising to reveal new details soon.
