Developers from Funselektor and Strelka Games have confirmed that their new off-road exploration game over the hill will be released on consoles, specifically on the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2, in 2027. Initially, the project will arrive on PC (Steam) this October.
About the game over the hill
This is a new adventure from the creator of the famous art of rally. Players are invited to explore, chart routes, and discover the endless expanses of the wild. You will be able to choose a vehicle inspired by classic 4x4 off-roaders from the 1960s-1980s and embark on a journey through biomes based on real locations.
Key features:
- Go off the beaten path: conquer the off-road solo or in co-op with up to three friends. Use boards, winches, and other equipment to overcome obstacles.
- A world worth discovering: explore forests, lakes, and mountains. Find remote cabins, observation decks, meteorites, and even portals to new zones. The game features dynamic weather changes and day-night cycles.
- Capture the moment: observe wildlife and use the in-game camera to take incredible pictures of landscapes.
- Car customization: find upgrades in the world, stop by merchants, and customize your vehicle (colors, accessories, cosmetics) according to your own style.
