Ninjala 2 developers want to support the franchise for "10, 20, or more years"

The future of the Ninjala franchise is designed for decades

GungHo Online Entertainment has high hopes for the Ninjala series and aims to develop it over the coming decades. The original free-to-play action game was released on Nintendo Switch in 2020, and now the developers are actively preparing a full sequel for Switch 2.

Game producer Motoki Kaneda noted in a recent interview that the team aims to turn Ninjala into a long-lasting franchise:

• Plans for supporting and developing the universe are set for 10, 20 years and more.
• Ninjala 2 for Switch 2 will be the next major step in the series' evolution.
• The developers want to expand not only the gameplay, but also the media presence of the ninja universe.

The release of the sequel on the next-generation Switch 2 platform is scheduled for next year, opening a new chapter in the history of colorful ninja battles.
