CITY CONNECTION has officially announced the return of the cult arcade beat 'em up from Irem — Ninja Baseball League-Man: Bases Loaded will be released on the next-generation Switch 2 console. The release in Japan is scheduled for December 10, 2026, in both digital and physical formats.
What's new for players?
The legendary 90s arcade classic has received a massive update featuring Full HD high-resolution support and new features:
- Baseball combos and moves: spectacular strike series, grabs, one-button super moves, as well as Pink as a fully playable character;
- Up to 4-player co-op: play through the game with friends in both the original mode and the new challenging arranged mode featuring different enemy layouts and new stages;
- New mini-games: compete for high scores in Home Run Derby or chaotic car races;
- Updated soundtrack: arrangements by composer Yosuke Yasui with the ability to switch between the new and classic soundtrack.
Information regarding a global release in Western markets is expected at a later date.
