Assassins Prepare for Screen Premiere
Streaming service Netflix has officially wrapped the filming process for the long-awaited live-action series based on Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed franchise.
Plans to create a live-action series were first announced back in 2020, but active production only gained momentum in 2025 when writers David Wiener (known for his work on the Halo series) and Roberto Patino joined the creative team.
Post-Production Stage Ahead
Following the wrap of filming, the project moves to the post-production stage, where the team will work on visual effects, editing, and the soundtrack. The series is on the home stretch of preparation for its release on television screens.
- The original announcement took place in 2020.
- Production accelerated in 2025 with the participation of Halo series writers.
- The post-production stage is currently underway.
The official premiere date on Netflix has not yet been disclosed, but the first teasers and promotional materials are expected soon.
