The Dark Castle Album by Van Slater Released for the Game Mixtape

Musical Release in the World of Mixtape

Publisher Annapurna Interactive and studio Beethoven & Dinosaur have announced the release of a new music album titled The Dark Castle by the character Van Slater from the game Mixtape. This is an original concept album dedicated to the story of a wizard.

The music is already available for streaming on popular services, as well as directly inside the game itself for those who already have Mixtape in their library.

What is the Game Mixtape About?

Mixtape is a new game from the creators of the BAFTA-winning game The Artful Escape. The plot follows three school friends who embark on their last adventure together on the way to their graduation party.

• Nostalgic journey: a carefully curated playlist immerses the characters in memories of key coming-of-age moments — from the first kiss to the last dance.
• Iconic soundtrack: in addition to original tracks, the game features songs by legendary bands such as The Cure, Joy Division, The Smashing Pumpkins, Iggy Pop, DEVO, and Siouxsie and the Banshees.
• Unique visual style: the game is inspired by classic coming-of-age movies and captures the atmosphere of teenage carefreeness.
