Spooky retro platformer is now available on Switch
Publisher Ratalaika Games together with developer calgames have announced the release of the game Mister Scary - Where Are You? on the Nintendo Switch console. The new title is a vibrant Halloween-themed retro platformer that is already available for purchase at a price of $6.
The search for a lost family
In this game, you control Mister Scary — a purple little monster inspired by a toddler's imaginary friend, who searches for his missing family in a whimsical and danger-filled world. An interesting mechanic: when the hero ducks, he falls asleep and becomes completely invulnerable to enemy damage.
Key game features:
- 6 atmospheric worlds with sub-levels;
- 6 unique spooky bosses;
- Various ways to combat enemies: jump on them or savor spicy or icy snacks to burn or freeze foes;
- Collectible tokens, 15 of which grant an extra life;
- Convenient world map for navigation;
- Original soundtrack by Logan E. Schad and Kevin Van Der Burg.
