The Wild Success of Meccha Chameleon on Switch 2
The game Meccha Chameleon became one of the most pleasant surprise releases (shadowdrops) during the recent Nintendo Direct for the Switch 2 console. As it became known, the popular hit demonstrated an impressive launch on the new platform.
In the first 24 hours after release, the game sold 100,000 copies, and soon the developers updated the statistics: total sales on Switch 2 have already surpassed the 300,000 copies mark.
What is this game?
Meccha Chameleon is an original multiplayer hide-and-seek game with a unique camouflage mechanic:
- Players are divided into two teams: those who hide and those who seek.
- To hide, players must literally paint their white body with the colors of the surroundings, imitating a chameleon's mimicry.
- Success depends on a good pose, the chosen spot, and your artistic abilities.
- You can play both with friends and in random online matches with players from around the world.
