Over 200 Pages of Development History of a Unique Survival Game
Publisher Lost in Cult, in collaboration with the creators of Rain World—studio VIDEOCULT (Joar Jakobsson and James Therrien)—has announced a new art book in its premium lineup: Rain World: Design Works. The book is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the game's release and covers the full story of its creation: from early conceptual prototypes and the Kickstarter campaign to the massive modding community.
The publication was authored by Grace Benfell, with project support provided by publisher Akupara Games. The book offers a detailed analysis of the story lore scattered throughout the ruins of the mysterious world, fan theories, and the game design decisions behind the ecosystem.
Deluxe Edition Bonuses
For dedicated fans, a Deluxe Edition is available, with orders open until November 30. Players who place their pre-orders within the first 48 hours will also receive autographs from the creators on the VIDEOCULT team.
