Ganondorf found: new casting details for The Legend of Zelda

After a long information lull, the film adaptation of the cult series The Legend of Zelda has finally received a major update. It has become known who will play the main antagonist of the universe — Ganondorf. This role went to actor Uli Latukefu, known for his projects on NBC and Netflix.

As a reminder, the film was announced back in 2023. Since then, fans have learned few details:

• Actors for the roles of Link and Zelda were announced;
• A postponement of the premiere date was reported;
• Now the actor for the role of the main villain has been officially approved.

The release of the co-production between Nintendo and Sony is scheduled for 2027. Fans can only hope that closer to the premiere, we will receive interesting news more often and, perhaps, the first footage from the film set.
