Full native versions instead of the cloud
October promises to be an exceptionally busy month for game releases, and one of the most anticipated new titles is the Kingdom Hearts Collection for the Switch 2 console.
The developers have finally abandoned the controversial cloud versions in favor of full native ports, something fans of the franchise have been waiting for for a long time. However, high-quality offline performance comes at the cost of a considerable amount of storage.
Storage space requirements
If you plan to download absolutely all the content at once, you should prepare your drive or memory card in advance. The collection will be released as three separate apps, and together they will require a substantial amount of storage:
- The collection is divided into three separate parts for download convenience;
- Complete abandonment of cloud gaming in favor of local installation;
- The total size of all apps exceeds 130 GB.
Despite the significant appetite for disk space, the ability to play the iconic series anywhere without an internet connection and streaming video delays is definitely worth every gigabyte.
