Heroes' Rest Before the Final Battle
Square Enix shared new promotional videos for the highly anticipated Final Fantasy VII Revelation, scheduled for release on Switch 2 on April 8, 2027. In the videos, the developers humorously showed how Cloud and his companions spend their free time near hot springs that have broken through to the planet's surface.
Visiting thermal waters will not just be a fun detail, but a full-fledged gameplay mechanic that brings noticeable bonuses to the team:
- Permanent increase in maximum health points (Max HP) for all characters;
- Unlocking unique FITS system costumes that grant new movesets in the style of classic jobs;
- Access to special story cutscenes and fun interactions between characters.
The Finale of the Massive Trilogy
Final Fantasy VII Revelation will be the culmination of the ambitious remake trilogy. Players will get full freedom of travel across the entire planet aboard the iconic Highwind airship with the ability to skydive to any point in the world, as well as test Vincent Valentine and Cid Highwind in battle.
