Double Fine Announces Thank You Bus Driver — Its First Game After Regaining Independence

Double Fine studio, which regained its independence from Xbox Game Studios in the summer, has officially announced its first new project — a game called Thank You Bus Driver.

Studio founder Tim Schafer emphasized that the team intends to continue creating unusual and original games. According to him, Double Fine is now once again in full control of its own destiny, and no one except himself will be able to shut down the studio anymore.

Thank You Bus Driver will be the first release to come out under the updated publishing label Double Fine Action Labs. Key details include:
