Become a haunted house in a spooky card roguelike
Publisher DANGEN Entertainment and studio Mantis Games have announced the release of the card roguelike Deck of Haunts on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 platforms. The game is already available for download in the digital eShop.
In Deck of Haunts, players do not explore a cursed house—they become it. By day, you build your sinister mansion by placing rooms and winding corridors, and assemble a deck of cards to induce terror and manipulation. By night, reckless humans arrive at your doorstep, and the hunt begins. The main objective is to drain all the life force of the visitors and protect the Heart of the mansion from priests and detectives at all costs.
Full version with all updates from day one
The original PC release of the game took place back in May 2025, and the project has expanded significantly since then. Owners of Switch and Switch 2 immediately receive a version with over a year's worth of content and improvements:
- Huge selection of cards and rooms: dozens of new options for customizing the mansion and creating unique tactics.
- Story missions and meta-progression: unlocking upgrades, modifiers, and new lore details.
- Nightmare mode and Death: a challenging trial of 13 nightmare levels featuring soul collection to summon the Reaper himself.
- Otherworldly minions: summon imps, gravediggers, Krampus, and other creatures to assist you.
- Controls improvements: the interface and navigation are fully optimized for console gamepads.
The developers emphasize that the console version is a significantly deeper and more content-rich game than the initial release, and it is fully ready to test the strategic skills of horror fans.
