Arc System Works America has unveiled the opening for its new tactical role-playing game Qliphah in Providence’s Shadow, which is already available on Nintendo Switch.
Post-apocalyptic Tokyo and Supernatural Phenomena
The story unfolds in a ruined Tokyo where the boundaries of reality are gradually blurring, and the city is overrun by supernatural monsters. The protagonist, an ordinary courier named Soma Hoshigami, is attacked by a creature and transformed into a half-human, half-monster. He is apprehended by Rena Hizuki, an investigator from the police's special anomaly investigation division.
Together, the protagonists take on the investigation of a chain of mysterious events: from the spread of the dangerous drug "Tiny True" to the appearance of strange "Stigma" marks on youth and the activities of a secretive cult.
