A New Look at the DMZ Mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4
A fresh trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 titled "DMZ Worldbuilder" has been released, showcasing the eponymous extraction mode. Every corner of the DMZ tells its own story: players will have to explore locations, search for clues, and uncover the secrets of a dangerous world.
Campaign and Multiplayer Details
The Modern Warfare 4 story campaign will transport players to the center of a rapid global escalation on the Korean Peninsula. You will play as Private Park, a South Korean soldier during a full-scale invasion, while Captain Price operates off the grid in pursuit of a catastrophic weapon. Campaign missions span New York, Paris, Mumbai, and trench warfare in Korea.
The multiplayer mode will feature the following:
- Crossplay and shared progression across all platforms.
- Optional gyro/mouse controls for Joy-Con 2.
- The new Ballistic Authority shooting system.
- 12 standard maps at launch and the dynamic Kill Block arena with over 500 layout variations.
The release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on Nintendo Switch 2 will take place on October 23, 2026.
