Support for Diablo IV will continue for a long time
Recently, Diablo IV: Age of Hatred Collection was released on Switch 2, opening the doors to the grim world of Sanctuary for owners of the new console. The bundle includes the original game and the Vessel of Hatred and Lord of Hatred expansions. However, after the announcement of Diablo V, some within the community raised concerns regarding the future of the fourth installment.
Game director Brent Gibson was quick to reassure fans in an interview with Icy Veins, stating that a huge amount of content still awaits Diablo IV.
A universe that continues to grow
According to the developers, the team has ambitious plans for the long-term support of the game:
- Ahead, players can look forward to new content and classes, including the iconic Amazon.
- Blizzard views Diablo as a full-fledged living universe, so the development of ongoing projects will not stop.
- Work on new content will continue in parallel with the creation of Diablo V.
Therefore, Switch 2 owners can confidently set out to fight the forces of evil — many years of updates lie ahead.
