New Roguelite Deckbuilder Mode
Tactical card game Battle Suit Aces has received a solid free update that adds a full-fledged roguelite deckbuilder mode. Now, each run begins with choosing one of 5 unique ships, each of which radically changes the approach to deck building.
Players will have to carefully calculate every move while traveling through sectors:
- Ship damage carries over between battles;
- Pilots can suffer temporary injuries;
- Enemy factions cooperate and pose new challenges;
- Players must choose between Battle Suit upgrades, new drones, and hull reinforcement.
More Content and Permanent Price Drop
In addition to the new mode, the update introduces foil cards, fresh items, lore details, and updated visual firing effects. The developers have also permanently reduced the price of Battle Suit Aces by $5 — the game is now available for purchase for $20.
