Demonic Paris Will Wait Until Early 2027
The release of the dynamic third-person roguelite shooter Armatus, which was originally expected in 2026, has been officially postponed. The developers needed additional time to polish the project, so the game's release is now scheduled for January 7, 2027, including for the Switch 2 platform.
Humanity's Last Chance for Salvation
The events of Armatus unfold in an apocalypse-ravaged Paris, whose streets have been overrun by brutal hordes of demons. Players will take on the role of the last warrior of an ancient order to fight their way through the chaos to the lost "Sunless Gate" — the only chance of salvation for the few survivors.
Key features of the project:
- Non-stop roguelite action: death does not mean the end — each new run unlocks additional knowledge, equipment, and upgrade opportunities;
- Powerful arsenal: combine various firearms (from shotguns to submachine guns) with a deadly scythe and holy fire magic;
- Celestial abilities: experiment with unique skills, including time slowing, to overcome increasingly powerful monsters.
