Japanese company FURYU Corporation has released ANOMALITH—its debut survival action horror, which is now available on the new Nintendo Switch 2 console priced at $49.99.
Anime version of Resident Evil in a world of anomalies
Inspired by modern horror games about spatial distortions, ANOMALITH combines dynamic shootouts with classic survival and resource management. According to the plot, dangerous anomalous zones known as "Otherworlds" have suddenly appeared in the world, which the government is unable to cope with.
Players take on the role of researcher Reona Minazuki. She awoke after a 10-year slumber inside a mysterious "Sarcophagus" and gained a supernatural sensitivity to otherworldly spaces. Now she must rescue a missing friend, uncover the nature of the anomalies, and master new mystical abilities.
Game Features:
- 12 unique abilities: combine magic and firearms to confront monsters;
- Flexible customization: change weapons and equipment that directly affect the heroine's stats;
- Unrealistic worlds: explore apartment buildings with inverted gravity, endless shopping floors, and living dark corridors.
Editions and Prices
In addition to the standard edition, the expanded Digital Deluxe Edition ($69.99) is available on Nintendo Switch 2, containing an 80-page digital artbook, a soundtrack selection, and an additional content pack, "Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office".
